March Heats Up with Two Events: How to Win BIM Awards and How to Win Government Contracts
March will be an active month for PRSA-MD. On March 11 we'll host How to Win a Best in Maryland Award at the University of Baltimore. The panel will include Harry Bosk, APR; Paul Eagle, APR; and Lisa Miles, APR--all current PRSA national Silver Anvil judges. They will offer advice on what judges look for, and they'll make themselves available to answer individual questions.

This year's Best in Maryland Awards will be held during the Chesapeake Conference on June 17. BIM Award submissions are due April 30, with an early bird deadline of April 16.

On March 23, PRSA-MD will team up with the Independent Public Relations Collaborative to bring you a brown bag lunch event titled PR and Government Relations: Where Are the Contracts, and How to Access the Jobs at the Howard County Business & Technology Center in Columbia. The featured speaker will be Gloria Berthold Larkin, President of TargetGov, a division of Marketing Outsource Associates. The event takes place at the Howard County Business & Technology Center, 9250 Bendix Rd. North, Columbia, MD 21045. The cost is $20 payable at the door. Registration and information is being handled through IPRC. To confirm your space, RSVP to Gina Kazimir by email by Thursday, March 18.
