What Would You Have Advised Tiger Woods to do in the Midst of His Crisis? Join us for our Crisis Communication Management Program

Join us on February 18 for a timely, informative and, no doubt, juicy discussion about Crisis Communication Management with John Maroon, president of Maroon PR. John has recently spoken to national and local media for his take on the Tiger Woods incident because of his vast experience with high-profile athletes and other clients in the sporting industry.

With the advent of social media, crisis communications is no longer the exclusive domain of the specialist. We all need at least some kind of first aid kit in our PR toolbox. No matter what kind of communications you practice, you won't want to miss this one.

In Case You Missed It
For those of you unable to attend the chapter's first event of the year on Jan. 21, Vocus Public Relations Director Frank Strong discussed PR planning in a dynamic and constantly changing landscape. Here are a few tips on how to deal with the change:

  • Maintain your relationships amidst the sweeping job loss in the media.
  • Master SEO and other new media tools appropriate to your organization.
  • Learn crisis communications and how to deal with social media attacks.
  • Integrate your communications with marketing.

For a comprehensive review of the discussion, see Tips for Dealing with the Changing PR Landscape on our blog.
