Electronic
Media Panel
Thursday, October 18, 2007
Join PRSA Maryland and the
Baltimore Public Relations Council for an interactive
panel discussion with some of the region’s
electronic media professionals. The panel will
explore some of the recent trends in the electronic
media industry, such as:
- “Multi-dimensional convergence”
where print, TV and radio converge, with each
partner providing distinct material and expertise
- The reality that Americans are spending less
time with traditional media, instead getting
what they need from digital media.
The panelists will give you
an inside look at how they’re currently
using digital technology and how we, as practitioners,
can tap into it. They will also share their predictions
for the future of the electronic media industry.
Panelists include: Chris Coleman,
assistant news director, WJZ-TV; Omari
Hughes, Web site manager, WMAR-TV; Steve
Sullivan, assistant managing editor/multimedia,
BaltimoreSun.com; Andy Bienstock,
program director, WYPR Radio.
