New Professionals Committee
Contact info@prsamd.org
The New Professionals Committee organizes networking opportunities for local PR professionals who have less than 5 years of experience. They also work with our local PRSSA student chapters to get them involved with the Maryland Chapter of PRSA.

Communications Committee:
Chair: Laura LaChapelle (laura@lachapellecommunications.com)
The Communications Committee writes and edits PRSA-MD’s eNewsletter, WebNotes, and aids in crafting the Chapter’s event promotion and making posts to the Chapter’s blog, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn sites.

We are looking for volunteers! Are you a dynamo at generating sponsorship dollars? A whiz at crafting and editing marketing communications? A customer service guru who can work your magic on our member communications? An event planning expert who would love to work on our annual conference committee? Or are you looking to increase your skills and connect with other local PR professionals?

Whether you want to be on a committee (minimum time commitment of 2 hours a month) or volunteer for a short and sweet (yet professionally beneficial) task like posting on Twitter or giving us some great ideas, contact the PRSA-Maryland office.
